The new 3D metal printing technology, Xerox ElemX Liquid Metal

The Xerox ElemX Liquid Metal 3D printer is a new manufacturing process for 3D printing metal parts. Its molten aluminium droplet deposition process allows for the precise printing of a part layer by layer. This process is achieved via a unique magnetohydrodynamic process that uses Lorentz forces to methodically project up to 400 droplets per second. Unquestionably, the Xerox ElemX delivers quality parts with a very simple manufacturing process.

Quality of parts produced: Material density between 99.5% and 99.9%.

Simpler post-processing, no sintering or debinding.
